My name is Kim Green.

Opening Mindfulness and Matters is a dream come true for me! I am thrilled to be able to share and teach Mindfulness Meditation, a practice that has changed my life
dramatically. I began researching and studying the practice of mindfulness to help me cope with chronic pain that I have lived with during my 18 year battle with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. The benefits of my practice not only helped me deal with my pain, but also helped  tremendously to ease the accompanying anxiety and depression that I also experienced.

The most dramatic changes for me, however, are the benefits and joy that I have received from embracing a life filled with mindfulness and meditation.

I look forward to helping others to acquire the benefits of a regular meditation practice, too!

In addition to being a Meditation Instructor, I am also a certified Pastoral Counselor. My practice allows me to work one on one with clients on particular issues with a faith based approach and guidance with spiritual direction.

I love writing and am currently at work on my memoir.

I am married, have two beautiful adult children, and my constant companions are my two doxies, Brutus and Bella.
